HANNA'S ARTWORK IS FEATURED
IN TWO EXHIBITS

Kim Hanna, a Redding artist, is having her work featured in the Ridgefield Guild of Artists exhibit, “Two Artists’ Vision in ‘I’ and ‘I…Ms. Hanna’s work will also be featured in the Silvermine Guild multi-media Annual New Members Exhibition.

Kim Hanna, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, received fine art training at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. She relocated to Redding from San Francisco in 2002.

She has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums on both coasts and was selected as a 2004 ‘Radius’ artist by the Ridgefield Guild and Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Her work is in collections throughout the US. She serves as creative director of the Ridgefield Guild of Artists and is an artist member of the Silvermine Guild of Art.

An intuitive painter and printmaker, Ms. Hanna works in a soft and low-keyed palette. Her oil-on-panel paintings contain layers of color and imagery. Recurring motifs – birds, fish, women, water – are not purely representational but rather expressions of emotional states, symbolic rituals and celebrations.
